What To Do If You Have No Hot Water?

A lack of hot water in your home can be a big problem. If you want to get it fixed, here’s some advice for you:

Check Your Fuse Box

The fuse box in your home operates the boiler as well, so if you can’t find an obvious leak anywhere, this is where to check next. Has a switch tripped or turned off? Make sure the box is set right and operating normally.

Look for Tripped Settings

All boilers in the UK have to be set before they can provide hot water to a home’s occupants. As such, it’s best to check if the settings panel on the boiler is still primed to the right heat and time.

These settings could have been accidentally tripped at some point throughout the day and simply need switching back to sort the problem. But if that’s not an issue in your home, move on to the step below.

Get the Boiler Checked Out

The next best step is to get a boiler engineer out to perform a repair job as soon as possible. A boiler can only be legally operated on by someone who knows what they’re doing, so calling a registered professional as soon as you’re able to will sort the problem right out.

And here at Fuller Heating, all of our engineers are Gas Safe Registered and ready to ensure your boiler is operating at proper capacity. Get in touch if you suspect a problem with the hot water system in your home.
